Just to underscore the point that I am prone to low levels, this is a bookplate made for me by family friend Pixie O’Harris in 1981 or thereabouts.

Pixie was a bit of a magician, she saw sprites, poltergeists etc. She made an industry out of children’s illustrations, even had her paintings on hospital paediatrics wards in Australia. I’ve got dozens of bookplates so if you want one mailed to you I’ll pay for the postage. It’s a print from a larger original drawing that I’m in the process of getting framed so I can send it to Japan for my family. The bookplate shows two versions of the same person, coz that’s me on the horse riding to the castle too. Just email me your address.
